My time series of books, including the LAZY HOUR and MISTER SECOND RUNS OUT OF TIME were conceived on the basis of teaching time and its attributes in a novel way.
Rather than asking dull questions about where the ‘big hand’ is right now, a host of characters do the job instead. Mister Second tries to cheat time, the Lazy Hour is not particularly interested in doing much at all and the Grandfather Clock has given a century of his time to deliberation.
But why stop at the clock, there are the days, weeks, months and years to consider, all are attractive characters that leap off the page and not just once every four years.
THE TIME SERIES of books can be revisited often and I am sure you will hear the word "again" much more than once!
